The novel reads like an homage to the author’s beloved Cornwall where Cornwall is centre stage from the sea mist to the views from the cliffs. ![]() And don't be put off by the number of books in the series - each one is so well developed and the action really evocative of the life and times back in Cornwall that it is a real treat to spend time with. ![]() The book obviously shows and explores a lot more in depth but this is such a multilayered and epic story that you won't be sorry you read it. ![]() If you haven't read the books or seen the TV show (which caused such a commotion over here - women were drooling in their droves and Cornwall tourism has gone through the roof! - then it's well worth a look at both.
