The Winter Queen doesn’t still believe Meghan and Ash’s claim that there was a growing group of Iron Faeries. She sealed her magic just in case she may use it against them. Meghan Chase was now a prisoner of Queen Mab. There were stronger villains who will fight Meghan and her group. There were a lot of missions and a lot of new characters to meet. This book was even more adventurous than the first one. I know I was hesitant with the first book but this book cemented my high expectation about the series. Okay, I really don’t know how to start this. Warning: Spoilers Ahead! (I can’t possibly write a review about this book without some spoilers.) ![]() But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can’t help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. She’s stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Worse, Meghan’s own fey powers have been cut off. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey-ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. ![]()
